Everyday sustainability designed in Bondi

As part of our responsible sourcing commitment, we work to ensure our products are sustainably sourced. Our bamboo and coconut products are handcrafted by local farmers from a small farming village in the Thanh Hoa province of Vietnam.

Harvesting bamboo is empowering rural communities by providing local rice farmers diversity of income, whilst protecting and improving the natural environment.

Our organic cotton is responsibly sourced from a women-run community in the Himalayan region.

For some women it is their first opportunity gaining financial independence, negotiating with their families for hours worked.

As natural processes are used, this maintains a clean water supply meaning farmers are able to grow more than one crop which supplements their food and income.

Giving Back

Founded in Bondi, needless to say, we love our oceans, the natural environment and the charming critters who inhabit them.

We give back 10% of our profits to animal rescue and environmental organisations, supporting animals like Wilbur the Wombat at ACT Wildlife and more.

Our Giving Back Commitment

Our Why

We’re convinced that small, everyday lifestyle changes can collectively have big impacts.

Our oceans and woodland are swimming in plastic pollution, threatening the livelihoods and homes of millions of marine life and land-based animals.

We’ve designed our products to provide an alternative to single use plastic, and positively impact the future of our natural environment.

As well as promoting a conscious lifestyle, our focus is economic empowerment.

We’ve chosen to work with artisans who are eco conscious as well as provide financial independence to women and rural farmers in developing regions.

Our Story

Sustainable Materials

Bamboo is fully biodegradable, sustainable and naturally anti-bacterial. requiring no chemicals or pesticides and very little water to harvest. It’s fast growing and can be harvested in 1 to 5 years compared to oak trees which take up to 40 years. Bamboo as an alternative to hardwood can contribute to drastically reducing deforestation.

Coconut palm wood is resource gentle, only using dead palm wood trees. This utilises what otherwise would have been waste produce, as well as creates space for new palm trees and growth of fresh coconuts.

Organic cotton is grown with no toxic chemicals, sustains the health of soils and uses 88% less water and 62% less energy than conventional cotton. Natural processes instead of exposure to toxic chemicals keeps farmers, their families, food and water supply safe.
